Conservative Tooth Preparation For Inlay/Onlay Restorations

The diamonds of the Esthetic Epitome Inlay/Onlay Veneer Preparation Kit enable simple reduction, preparation, and refinement.	Defective amalgram restoration, with recurrent caries and a fracture down the buccal groove. The defective restoration on tooth #14 is removed using the amalgram removal bur.
Gross preparation is accomplished using a super-coarse, shorter-than-short shank diamond bur.	The shorter-than-short shank bucket diamond is used to prepare the isthmus to the proper buccolingual width.
